Wedding photographer in Puglia
Trulli, masserie, olive groves and the Adriatic Sea. A land that tells its own story, and needs a photographer who knows how to listen.
Wedding photography in Puglia

Puglia is one of the most sought-after destinations in Italy for weddings, and for good reason. The Valle d’Itria with its iconic trulli, the whitewashed masserie of Fasano and Ostuni, the dramatic cliffs of Polignano a Mare, the baroque architecture of Lecce: every corner of this region offers a different kind of beauty, but all of it is extraordinary.
My name is Andrea Cacciola, I am a documentary wedding photographer based in Calabria. My approach means I do not direct, I do not pose, I do not interrupt. I observe, I move, I shoot when something real happens. I know Puglia well, I have worked there many times across its most iconic locations and its lesser-known ones, and I understand how to read the light of this part of southern Italy in every season.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer in Puglia, what you find here is my real work, made in those locations, with that light, with those people.
Weddings in Puglia, my portfolio
Puglia, a location like no other
Photographing a wedding in Puglia means working in a region that offers an extraordinary variety of settings, all within a short drive of each other. The masserie of the Fasano and Ostuni countryside are among the most beautiful rural venues in Italy: ancient farmhouses with dry stone walls, olive trees that are centuries old, open skies. Alberobello and its trulli offer something entirely unique, a landscape that looks like it was invented for photographs. Polignano a Mare, with its houses perched above the sea, is one of the most spectacular settings on the Adriatic coast. And Lecce, with its baroque churches and golden stone, is a city that rewards those who take the time to look.
I have worked in Puglia and I know that particular late afternoon light over the Valle d’Itria, the way the masserie glow at dusk, the wildness of the coast further south. Every part of this region has something to say, and my job is to be ready when it does.
How I work during a wedding in Puglia
I work alone or with a second photographer when the wedding requires it. When possible I reach the location in advance, to learn it in the right light before the wedding day. I do not have a fixed style imposed on everyone. I adapt to the couple, to the day, to the atmosphere. What remains constant is discretion and attention to the details that would otherwise go unnoticed: a parent’s glance, a hand held tight, a real laugh in the middle of the chaos.
Choosing Puglia for your wedding is already a statement. My job is to tell that story the way it deserves.

FAQ about wedding photography in Puglia
Do you travel to Puglia for weddings?
Yes, always. Puglia is one of the regions I know best and work in most regularly. Whether your wedding is in a masseria in Fasano, on the cliffs of Polignano or in the streets of Lecce, contact me and I will almost certainly have worked there before.
How many photos do you deliver for a wedding in Puglia?
It depends on the length of the day and what happens. On average for a full wedding day I deliver between 400 and 600 selected and edited photographs. I do not deliver everything I shoot. I make a careful selection because every photo delivered needs to earn its place.
Do you work in locations outside the main areas of Puglia?
Yes, I am available for weddings throughout Puglia, including the Salento, the Gargano and the areas around Matera on the border with Basilicata. If you have chosen a specific location, contact me.
