Destination wedding in Tuscany, Villa Casavecchia

Hanna and Fulvio flew in from America to get married in Tuscany, at Villa Casavecchia, with two days of celebrations and an international guest list that made everything even more special. A destination wedding in the heart of Tuscany, surrounded by hills, olive trees and that late afternoon light that becomes something truly unrepeatable.

The welcome dinner among the olive trees

The day before the wedding, the welcome dinner took place in the villa garden, with a portable wood-fired oven churning out pizzas and guests scattered around tables beneath the trees. An informal and warm atmosphere, the kind of evening where people meet, share stories and prepare themselves for what comes the next day. I photographed all of it without ever stopping to look for the next frame.

The ceremony and reception at Villa Casavecchia

On the wedding day, the civil ceremony was held outdoors in the villa garden, with the Tuscan hills as a backdrop and guests seated among the greenery. Hanna wore a strapless gown with a colourful bouquet, Fulvio a light beige suit with a sunflower boutonnière. Everything was considered, but never rigid. The reception followed the same spirit: long wooden tables lit by candles and string lights, live music, dancing on a rain-soaked floor. Villa Casavecchia did the rest.
